Global Family Network is a Registered Charity operating mainly in the area surrounding Solwezi, in the North West Province of Zambia.
We seek to promote the solidarity of the family as a means of encouraging security and well-being amongst its people. In many places, the traditional family has broken down as the productive middle generation has died from disease, or migrated to find work. This has left the older generation and/or children without support.

We believe that the family unit extends beyond blood or tribal ties and into the family of mankind. As such we seek to network all sources of aid from across the globe to provide new extended family links among disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
We assist disadvantaged elderly and children to rediscover their family roles. All our projects are designed to be self-sustaining. Beneficiaries are responsible for passing on benefit to others in the community. The best aid is the kind that tackles the cause of need, and not just the effects.
